Michael Johnston 
President and CEO - HJC

Michael Johnston is the president and founder of HJC Consultants and HJC New Media. He is also co-founder of the Washington, DC based legacy company, The Legacy Giving Group and is New Media Partner with the Dutch based company, Delphi and the French based company, Optimus.

He has been a fundraiser for 20 years and has worked with hundreds of organizations in Canada, the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.  

Mike is an expert in direct response fundraising innovation – especially in the use of new technologies like the Internet.

Mike was an instrumental, founding board member of the Washington based Ephilanthropy Foundation, and was its first Education Committee chair. He was a founding Board Chairman of Globelot, the first Internet lottery created in partnership with CARE International, Human Rights Watch, World Wildlife Fund, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent. 

Tad Druart

Mr. Druart has more than 20 years of leadership experience in developing, executing and sustaining communications strategies and tactics that drive results. As a top communications professional, he has had significant success leading the branding, public relations (PR), investor relations (IR) programs for for-profit businesses and served the nonprofit market in fundraising and program roles . Mr. Druart's experience spans industry-leading companies including Dell and National Instruments, as well as success as a fundraising professional with Special Olympics and in Higher Education at Texas State University.
